A palavra Awá tem origem na língua nativa brasileira Tupí-guarani, e que pode conotar diferentes significados
Dentre estes são: pessoa, ou gente e circular, formas circulares podiam também ser associadas a palavra
Acreditamos na potência de nossa ancestralidade, herança cultural e genética que nos abençoou com tantos talentos e conexão com a matriz essencial da vida, a natureza
Essa palavra traduz tudo aquilo que queremos transmitir, a música e o amor que une as pessoas
Queremos convidar vocês a também se juntarem nessa grande roda e fazer o que mais amamos, música!

Why AWÁ?
O AWÁ Handpan Gathering Brasil surge com o intuito de proporcionar uma experiência mais profunda com esse instrumento mágico.
Um encontro para realmente nos retirar e abrir a possibilidade de nos desligarmos do cotidiano que muitas vezes nos enquadra em padrões que impossibilitam que possamos entrar em contato com a nossa essência e a nossa expressão criativa.
Surge então, esse sonho e esse forte desejo de que as pessoas possam experienciar uma dinâmica mais ativa onde elas ao mesmo tempo desfrutam da música e também participam dela.
Por isso, pensamos numa proposta aonde todos os participantes são também os integrantes da sinfonia.
Durante esses 3 dias os participantes poderão experienciar uma dinâmica um pouco diferente, ao longo do retiro os concertos serão intercalados entre apresentação solo, e colaborações entre os artistas, inspirando os participantes para a próxima oficina, aonde as atividades vão se conectando e se complementando
Mas a cereja do bolo está na proposta de incentivar e guiar os participantes a formar seu próprio grupo musical, e a compor, utilizando as ferramentas adquiridas ao longo das oficinas, dando oportunidade de já colocarem em prática, aumentando a absorção do conhecimento.
Será incrível ver novos talentos brotarem, e celebrar a alegria que é poder criar junto!

The AWÁ Handpan Gathering Brasil was created with the aim of providing a deeper experience with this magical instrument.
An encounter to really withdraw and open up the possibility of disconnecting from the daily routine that often frames us in patterns that make it impossible for us to get in touch with our essence and our creative expression.
Then comes this dream and this strong desire for people to experience a more active dynamic where they both enjoy music and participate in it.
Therefore, we thought of a proposal where all participants are also members of the symphony.
During these 3 days, participants will be able to experience a slightly different dynamic, throughout the retreat the concerts will be interspersed between solo presentations and collaborations between artists, inspiring participants for the next workshop, where the activities connect and complement each other.
But the highlight is the proposal to encourage and guide participants to form their own musical group, and to compose, using the tools acquired throughout the workshops, allowing them to put all into practice, and increasing the absorption of knowledge.
It will be incredible to see new talents emerge, and to celebrate the joy of being able to create together!
